Today we look at a Sock Roving Kit from Bitsy Knits. I've seen a few variations of this idea around and I think it's cool.
Basically you get some kind of main fibre to use for 2 singles and then a smaller amount of a specific sock mix (usually containing stuff like Nylon or Silk for sock strength) for another single. When plied together you should get a pretty, strong yarn specially suited to sock knitting.
The main roving from Bitsy Knits is BFL, the sock roving is Kid Mohair, Nylon and Merino. The colourway is called "Nervestorms and Tantrums". Great name for a lovely colourway!
